God's Presence

In case we ever forget to give God the praise and admiration He deserves, some mornings He gives us a gentle nudge; as if to say, "Good morning! I'm happy to see you this morning, I love you and am going to give you this beautiful sunrise today." It works - I think of Psalm 118:24 - "This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." I acknowledge our creator and give thanks to him for all of our so many blessings...

Monster Jam

The boys were so excited for and looking forward to the second weekend in January - Monster Jam!!! We even managed to talk Owen into wearing underwear for good, because "only big kids can go see monster trucks" - he believed us and fell for it. Hooray! Anyhow, back to the event - Nationwide Arena is too small of a place to truly appreciate a monster truck show, but it was still fun. At "halftime," they had a show with dirtbikes, BMX bikes, and quads doing jumps and tricks, it was really neat. I didn't have the camera out for that, although it was too dark for good pictures, anyway. Here are some shots from the monster truck portion...
