Not once since Dillon has been big enough to be out of the infant carrier has he EVER fallen asleep in the stroller. Everyone else's kids seem to fall asleep when they're at the zoo or wherever - but not Dillon! Lo and behold, the other day, I took the boys out for a long (over an hour) walk, and I think the heat knocked him out. He walked himself quite a ways, but after I put him back in the stroller, it wasn't long before he was zonked. I couldn't believe it, and had to take the picture as proof!

After we came inside, he wolfed down a whole big plate of food - and loved the mashed potatoes!

Yesterday we visited Grammy and Poppy's house for Mother's Day, and on the way home, the sun was in his eyes. So I passed him back my sunglasses, since his were in the back of the van. He did pretty well with them, but they were a little big and kept falling off.

After some complaining, I went to the back and dug his out of the diaper bag. Ahh, much better! "Cool!" as he now says everytime he puts them on...

Owen's Bottle Strike

I need advice - if you have any, please comment!!!

Owen won't take a bottle - I've tried different nipples, different formula, even breastmilk in a bottle, and it doesn't matter. He doesn't take a pacifier, either, I think he just doesn't like foreign objects in his mouth! At one point, I thought I had him - he took about 1-1/2 ounces of breastmilk one day and 1-1/2 oz. of formula the following day, both from a Playtex Nurser latex slow flow nipple. Then when we tried a few days later, nothing. Do I just need to be persistent and keep trying every day until he does? I've heard that sometimes people have better luck if it's not the mom trying, b/c they can smell the milk and want the real thing...

Any advice appreciated...

For Owen's 3-month milestone, I was going to take him to get his pictures taken. Then I realized it would be too big of an undertaking with Dillon and me all by myself. So I decided to just do it myself. I did get this adorable picture out of it!

Dillon is coming around, too - although he still likes to bully Owen once in a while, he'll give him kisses if you ask him to.

And just what was Dillon doing while this "photo shoot" was going on, you ask???
Trouble, with a capital T!!!
