Easter Egg Coloring - Success!!!

The past two years have not been very successful when it comes to coloring eggs. This year, the boys (Dillon) have been asking about it for at least a week, if not more. Tonight was the night - and no cups were spilled, only a couple eggs were cracked, and no tears were shed - hooray! Here are some pics of the results:

All Aboard!!!

This weekend we took a day trip to Lebanon, Ohio to take a ride on the Easter Bunny Express. It was the boys' first ride on a train, so they were very excited! The train rolled 4.4 mi. down the tracks (took about 30 min.), then let the passengers off for some events.

The boys all got along great, and had a lot of fun goofing off together -
especially once they got their balloon swords!

They had plastic eggs hidden in the tall grass for the kids to have an Easter egg hunt.

Each child got the chance to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap, too. This was the first time the boys have sat on any stuffed person's lap, so they were a little hesitant, but thought it was fun.
Back on the train for the 30 min. ride back...

Fun adventure! We'll have to do another train line in the fall... Any suggestions, please advise!

Spring Has Sprung!

The sun peeked its head out for a few days last week, and we were blessed with some warmth to enjoy the outdoors. We took the opportunity to play outside, and even headed to Allen Center park to play for a bit. Can't wait for this nice weather to be an every-day occurrence!

Dinner with Friends

We had some friends over on Tuesday night for a spaghetti dinner - it has been so long since the kids got together for a playdate, they barely remember each other! The kids had a blast playing, and all got along great. We can't wait for the next get-together!From left to right: Aiden Fink, Elise Gilsinger, Owen and Dillon

Of course, you can't eat a spaghetti dinner and NOT take a bath - we let the boys have an extra special big bubble bath, they loved it.I couldn't resist this photo-op..
