What a beautiful Easter Sunday we had!!! Beautiful blue skies, sun, a cool breeze - it couldn't have been nicer! Our family celebrated the holiday by church in the morning, followed by brunch at Grandma and Paw Paw's house. And what would Easter be without an egg hunt? So of course we did that before we ate - the boys had a blast.
Dillon did great sharing, too - as soon as he found one, Joe would tell him to let Owen find the next one, and he would! It is so nice to see him growing up into such a big boy. He now will even say, "okay, Daddy" or "okay, Mommy" every once in a while, which is just wonderful! (Such a big improvement from "WHY???" after every request!)After our brunch, Grandma had to go to work, so Joe and Paw Paw decided to spend the afternoon installing a ceiling fan in their kitchen. What better day to do it, right? Grandma was shocked and thrilled to see it when she got home, the boys did a great job.
Once the ceiling fan was installed, they came back to our house, where Laura and I had a nice Easter dinner prepared for everyone. The kids ate a little, but were too high on sugar to eat too much actual food. It was a rough evening, but overall everyone had fun!
